Join a growing Cape Town property group as a hands-on Junior Finance Administrator. Own payments and Xero reconciliations, learn from the ground up, and grow with us.

Job description

LIONLEAD Real Estate is a growing Cape Town property group, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-driven Junior Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our finance function.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and getting the numbers right. You'll be based at our Head Office in De Waterkant, working closely with the Managing Director, with our external accountants on hand for technical support — a great opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and grow with us.

What you'll do:

  • Load and process payments accurately and on time

  • Reconcile bank and payment transactions in Xero

  • Handle supplier and customer reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies

  • Capture invoices, generate statements and invoices, and follow up on outstanding items

  • Keep our financial records and filing clean and up to date across the group

  • Support the finance function with general administration

Where it goes: as LIONLEAD grows, a strong performer will take on more responsibility and develop toward a more senior finance role over time.

Job requirements

  • A relevant finance qualification (diploma or degree in accounting/finance, or currently studying)

  • Some bookkeeping or finance-administration experience

  • Hands-on experience with Xero (essential)

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and reliability

  • Well organised, deadline-driven, and happy to follow a clear process

  • A willing, positive attitude and eagerness to learn

  • Based in Cape Town and able to work full-time in-office in De Waterkant

Nice to have: experience with WeConnectU, Pastel or Sage, or a multi-entity/property environment.
